Why Tallow
Your skin already knows this ingredient.
Human skin sebum and beef tallow share a remarkably similar fatty acid profile, particularly in oleic acid, stearic acid, and palmitic acid. This isn't a coincidence. For most of human history, we used animal fats to protect and moisturize skin. The skin recognizes these fats at a cellular level.
Modern skincare replaced these fats with petroleum derivatives, silicones, and synthetic emollients. The result? Chronic dryness, barrier disruption, and a billion-dollar industry selling you solutions to problems it helped create.
We went back to the source. Grass-fed tallow, rendered low and slow, whipped until it's light enough to absorb without residue. That's the whole formula.
What we stand for
Ancestral
Tallow has been used for skin since before recorded history. Our ancestors understood that fat from well-raised animals is one of the most biocompatible substances for human skin. We're not inventing something new. We're returning to something true.
Regenerative
Every batch starts with 100% grass-fed beef tallow sourced from US ranches that practice regenerative grazing. Good soil, healthy animals, pure fat. The chain is short and traceable.
Minimal
The ingredient list is short by design. Tallow. Beeswax. Essential oils where the scent calls for it. No emulsifiers, no preservatives, no synthetic fragrances. If you can't pronounce it, it's not in the jar.
Sourcing
We know where every batch comes from.
We source exclusively from US ranches that raise cattle on open pasture year-round. No feedlots. No grain finishing. The tallow is rendered in small batches and third-party tested for purity before it ever reaches our facility. Traceability matters. Good skincare starts with good farming.
